Type E Dixon adaptor is a plug with a hose shank on the other end. Compatible with Dixon EZ Boss-Lock couplings.

Application: The hose shank can be attached to a rubber hose assembly with a ferrule, crimp sleeve, and bands. While the adaptor or plug end can lock into a coupling and provide a seal.

Type E adaptors most commonly connect to Type C couplings thought they can also be used with Type B couplings and Type D couplings to form an interlocking seal. Can be used for oil transport and delivery, fuel transportation and delivery, gasoline transport and delivery, processing food and beverage, citric acid, hydraulic fluid, and pharmaceutical applications. Also effective in moderately dirty environments such as septic tank pump trucks and chemical or fuel tanker trucks.
