Designed for chemical application Type D EZ Boss-Lock fittings have a female coupling or socket with a female threaded end.

Application: are threaded onto a hose end, a manifold assembly or pipe that is frequently connected and disconnected in the course of an operation. Type D fittings are commonly used with a Type A adapter or socket with a similar size. Can be used for waste water, salt water, acid, diesel, gasoline, septic and hydraulic oil processing. Effective in moderately dirty environments such as septic tank pump trucks and chemical or fuel tanker trucks. Locking levers allow seal between plug and socket to stay connected and avoid disconnecting by accident. Compatible with a wide variety of cam and groove brands.
